Types of robot bases:
There are various types of robot bases, currently mainly including two types: mobile chassis and drive wheel base.
1. Mobile chassis
The mobile chassis generally adopts omnidirectional wheels or McNumb wheels, which can allow the robot to move in both X and Y directions, and the steering is flexible, making it easy to change the direction of the robot's travel.
2. Drive wheel base
The drive wheel base is mainly used in the industrial field, and can be divided into three types according to its different wheel drive methods: series drive, parallel drive, and dual drive base.
Fixed base
The robot will be fixed on a fixed plate, which needs to be strong enough to avoid shaking during the operation of the robotic arm
Fixed method
The base of the robotic arm has 4 holes, which are fixed to the thin plate with 4 M16 (60mm long) screws.
