Automatic Welding Manipulator

Definition and core composition: perfect integration of robot arm + intelligent system Welding robot is an important branch of industrial robot. By installing welding torch or welding tongs at the end of the manipulator, the automatic execution of welding, cutting, spraying and other processes can be realized. The core system is composed of three parts: Execution system: six-degree-of-freedom manipulator (some models load up to 150kg) can simulate the flexible rotation of human wrist, with pneumatic or electric servo welding tongs, to achieve spot welding, arc welding and other processes. For example, Kelda developed a parallelogram structure robot, which covers the top, back and bottom of the workspace, and has both rigidity and flexibility. Sensing system: laser vision sensor scans the weld position in real time, with an accuracy of ± 0.05mm, and constructs a multi-dimensional feedback network with temperature and current sensors. In shipbuilding, the system can automatically identify the welding deformation of 30m steel plate and adjust the welding parameters dynamically. Control system: Path planning system based on artificial intelligence algorithm, which can import 3D CAD model to automatically generate welding trajectory. Kelda's RobotWare system supports off-line programming, which reduces the change time of automobile production line from 8 hours to 15 minutes.
