During the operation of a welding robot, if one is not careful, if the worker touches a live part, the consequences can be very serious, leading to click injury accidents and posing a threat to personal safety. Share how to prevent electric shock accidents during the operation of a welding robot.

1. Do not touch the live parts during the operation of the welding robot.

2. Staff must regularly wear dry insulated gloves and work clothes. Never use worn, wet gloves or work clothes.

3. Before carrying out installation, inspection, maintenance, and other work, please complete cutting off the input side power supply. In addition, even if the input side power supply is cut off, the capacitor is still being charged. After cutting off the power supply, within a few minutes, it must be confirmed that there is no charging voltage before proceeding with the operation.

4. As for the cables used for connection, do not use cables with insufficient capacity, damaged or exposed conductors.

5. The connection part of the cable should be securely tightened and insulated to prevent it from being touched.

6. For welding power boxes and base materials or fixtures that are electrically connected to the base material, grounding engineering must be carried out by qualified personnel such as electrical technicians in accordance with regulations (electrical equipment technical standards).

7. Do not use the welding machine with the outer box and cover removed.

8. During the operation of the welding robot, it is necessary to fully confirm the standing point before proceeding with the operation. Do not use unstable standing places or high places (2 meters or more) as working footholds.

9. Regular maintenance and inspections should be carried out. Repair the damaged part before use.

10. Please cut off the unused mechanical input side power supply.
