Safety requirements for using welding tongs

The function of the electrode holder is to clamp the welding rod and conduct current, and it is the main tool for electrode arc welding. It is directly related to the safety of the welder's operation, so it must meet the following safety requirements:
1. The welding pliers should be able to clamp the welding rod at any angle set, and ensure safe and convenient replacement of the welding rod.
2. The handle of the welding tongs should have good insulation and thermal insulation performance. It is forbidden to use welding tongs with insulation damage or no insulation.
3. The connection between the electrode holder and the welding cable should be simple, reliable, and have good contact.
4. Welding tongs should be lightweight (not exceeding 0.6kg) and easy to operate.
